Armenia’s economic structure requires a fundamental overhaul due to chronically low productivity and uneven competitive conditions. Currently, only 10% of manufacturing enterprises utilize modern equipment, while trade and services dominate the GDP structure, accounting for 63%. The state’s macroeconomic policy disproportionately favors the banking system, which extracts hyper-profits from external capital inflows, severely limiting the investment appeal of the real sector. Guaranteeing sustainable economic growth and protecting investments necessitates the strict inviolability of property rights and the stimulation of institutional links between large and small enterprises. It is imperative to transition to a new industrial architecture by integrating innovative tools and aligning the educational system with labor market demands.
